I don't normally make these kinds of journals because I like to avoid this drama. Plus, I normally don't think it's that big a deal. But I decided to make an exception, and I hope you guys take the warning.
There is a dude here on Deviantart who is harassing people to draw his character, even if they do not take requests. He will try to trick you into thinking he has a disability, and try to make you feel sorry for him in order to get art out of you. If he types strangely, that is a trick. He can type fine if he wants.
Here is a journal with more info about him, and a stash with screenshots of conversations between him and other people he has harassed.

I will admit that I drew something for him. He contacted me about his character and I was bored, thought it looked kind of cool (always wanted to draw a night fury and thought it'd be good practice for dragons), and drew it for him. Here's the pic:
He later uploaded it to his account, which I would have preferred he didn't since I like to keep these kinds of exceptions private, but I suppose I should have known.
If you are contacted by this person (you can find most of his account names on the journal I linked), then please immediately block him. Do not reply, and if you do not recognize him, then the moment he asks you to draw his dragon character (unless you want to I suppose), just completely ignore him.
That is the only strategy you can take with these kinds of people. Do not reply, delete their spam, and report their accounts. They will keep coming back, sure, but at least if we know about him, we can avoid him as best we can. If he is spamming you and insulting you, then please just don't reply. Delete it and don't listen.
I hesitated posting this journal because attention like this is what he wants. It'll frustrate him a bit, but honestly I think he'll probably laugh at this. Still, I felt it worth telling you guys.
If he spams me in the comments or in notes, I'll probably just laugh, and I hope you guys can laugh too since we won't let him get to us.

Important News! Commissions + Activity
Hello everyone!
So, some things have happened in my life recently that are going to affect how active I am here, especially in terms of commissions. Come the beginning of 2020, I'll be starting a full time job irl. I interviewed about a week ago and found out I had gotten the position. While it's super exciting, it's also pretty scary... I won't have nearly as much time to draw as I do currently, plus I'll still be taking a class or two online for college (as my end-goal hasn't changed; I really want to graduate).
My family isn't in the best financial shape, and I really want to - well, need to - help out. Having consistent pay is going to
CONTEST! Bit Different :)
Hello Everyone!
I’ve done contests on my channel before, however this one is slightly different. My Biology class has a project due by the end of the semester (April 26th). It pretty much allows the student to do whatever as long as it explores some aspect of Environmental Conservation. I mean, life is pretty important in Biology, right?
For my project, I decided to involve all of you guys! So here’s the gig: Anyone who reads this can attempt to complete one (or more) of the following challenges in return for an art prize/prizes from yours truly, and from anyone who wants to offer prizes! (send me a note titled "Green Prize" if y
IMPORTANT: Commissions Price Change!
Hello all!
I realize this is going to be bad news for a lot of you, but I’ve decided to try raising prices a bit. I did some calculations with my current prices, and the fact is, for the volume I get and the wage I make per hour, upping prices makes a lot of sense. I spend more time on each scene now, and I feel as though the quality has increased. I hope you guys understand, and I am open to hearing any complaints you have. Feel free to speak your mind.
In terms of how commissions work; it’s still the same system. If you’d like to get one (or have already entered for one) I’m still using this journal: https://www.de
A Tip For Aspiring Authors!
Hello! I have a quick tip for aspiring authors, but first allow me to say: I'm not an authority on writing. I myself am only an aspiring author, however recently I've made a discovery that I thought was worth sharing because it wasn't something I had considered at all until actually experiencing it.
The tip: Try being the Dungeon Master for a group of friends.
For those who don't know what a Dungeon Master is, it is pretty much the person who runs a game of Dungeons and Dragons.
Why is this a tip for aspiring authors? Well, being a DM forces you to do a lot of things/develop a lot of skills that are crucial to writing a great story (wheth
